I am a sales consultant at Carpet One in Arlington and have been in the flooring business for fifteen years. Prior to my time with Carpet One I sold electronics and I also have a background in real estate. I was attracted to Carpet One because of the wide variety of products that are available in our stores. I enjoy working with customers to help transform their houses into a home of which they can be proud. When I am not at work, I spend much of my time with my four dogs. Because of this I am better able to help homeowners pick the best products that will withstand the issues that pets can present. I look forward to working with you!

I started my career in the flooring industry in 1987. I’ve worked from both sides of the business as a sales representative and as a retail salesperson. I always enjoy working with people and helping them find the flooring that is right for them. Currently I handle insurance claims involving water damage to flooring, helping homeowners get their homes back to the way it was or even better. Nearly twenty years of doing this has allowed me to help hundreds of people. My four year business degree, along with other training, enables me to offer the best service I can to my clients. When I’m not working I enjoy photography, working on my own home, and relaxing with my pets.

I have been with Carpet One for 15 years. During those years I have been in sales and management. I take pride in providing our customers with the most satisfying buying experience. I grew up in South Louisiana, but have been in Texas since 1985. I have over 40 years of floor covering experience. I enjoy helping customers spruce up their homes with the most up-to-date floor coverings on the market today. In addition, my experience is not only in sales, but installing floors as well. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, golfing, and spending time with my family.

I have always enjoyed working with people and I particularly like helping clients choose materials and colors in flooring. I take pride in seeing that my customers are happy with their selections and it often leads to referrals that I get from their friends and family. I spend considerable amounts of time with each customer to understand their needs when recommending appropriate flooring products. I am very detailed and accurate with measurements for flooring and try to minimize the amount of waste of flooring purchased. I maintain a photo file of completed flooring projects to show new clients who are in the market for new flooring. I specialize in staircase carpet recommendations, media room, and game room carpets, where impact is important to the client.

I have a degree from the University of Kentucky in Computer Science, which was my first career. I later got into flooring sales in 2000 and am enjoying my second career more than my first. I have an interior design certification and also own a Handyman business on the side, which has been helpful in assisting clients. I have four grown children and five grandchildren who are located in the Midwest. I play beach volleyball once or twice each week and also am at the gym regularly.

The floor covering industry has provided me with employment opportunities for more than 40 years. Within this industry, I have been involved in every segment, including manufacturing, sales, and installation. One of my favorite jobs was working for a ceramic tile manufacturer, which involved calling on distributors, architects, and specification writers for commercial projects. I have always found building projects interesting. When it comes to sales, I enjoy helping my customers understand what to expect from their selections. It is very important for them to know if the products will give back in performance as much as they will give in maintenance. My hobbies include landscaping and building projects.

I’ve been in the floor covering business for 16 years. I started my flooring career in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2003. I’ve been with Carpet One in Fort Worth since November 2019. The best part of my job is interacting with consumers while understanding their needs. Turning their dreams into reality is rewarding for me! I will spend as much time with you as needed in order to find the style, fashion, and color to fit your budget. Once you select your products I will schedule a time to come out and measure your home and go over details. I will then build your estimate and we will schedule your installation. There are no charges for this service.

I’ve been happily married to my beautiful wife, Carrie, for 32 years. We have 3 wonderful grown children and a beautiful 6-month-old granddaughter. I love spending time with my family. I’m a big Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoy watching and attending their games. I’m also a cancer survivor. In 2018 I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. It’s been a crazy year for my family and I, but I am now cancer free. I’m very blessed and grateful to be a part of the Carpet One team. Please come in and let me assist you.

I started selling flooring in 2013 because I enjoy making homes more beautiful. Flooring can make such a huge change without requiring a big investment. Each of my customers’ needs are unique. Identifying their decor taste, wants, and lifestyle all go into finding the best product recommendations. Carpet One’s huge selection allows me to show a wide array of products and designs to meet almost any budget.

I’m a Fort Worth native who graduated from Everman High School. “Go Bulldogs!” I have a B.A. in Advertising and an MPA in Public Administration. Having completed Carpet One University, I earned the title of Certified Flooring Consultant. Being a ‘local,’ I have lots of relatives and friends in the area that I spend time with whenever I can. When you’re ready to be floored, come see me!

I began my work in sales as a teenager when I sold books and office supplies door-to-door. I found that I enjoyed meeting and talking with people, and it went well with my plans to go into ministry. My background in the flooring industry started in January 1974 for Montgomery Wards where I was one of the top three salespeople in flooring for the entire Jacksonville, Florida area. I have sold for many companies over the years in the Florida and Pennsylvania area, and for the last 37 years here in the great state of Texas. What I do on an average day is meet people and help with their selections of flooring. Truly, that can be difficult at times because you do not change flooring everyday, and it may – and usually does occur – that many years have gone by.

During my off-hours, I spend time with my 10-year-old son and his 5-year-old brother. My son’s mother and I co-parent and are still wonderful friends. I enjoy working at my son’s school as a Dad On Duty, where I tutor and encourage children who are having a more difficult time.
